Powell River Peak earned two awards at the 2021 Ma Murray Awards.
The awards are presented every year by the BC and Yukon Community NewsMedia Association to recognize the best work produced by its 93 member newspapers.
The Peak received silver in the COVID Coverage - Advertising, under 10,000 circulation category. Alberni Valley News was awarded with gold while The Interior News received bronze.
The Peak received bronze in the Special Section category for its Spring Home and Garden publication. Revelstoke review was awarded gold; Alberni Valley News received silver
The awards were presented at a virtual gala held Thursday, June 10.
