BC Ferries has made a change to a previous announcement regarding annual operational readiness drills scheduled to take place on Salish Orca, which will result in cancelled sailings between Westview Terminal (Powell River) and Little River Terminal (Comox) in November.

The following sailings will be cancelled on three Saturdays: November 13, 20 and 27.

The 3:25 pm sailing from Little River to Westview, and the 5:15 pm return sailing from Westview to Little River will not run.

Regular sailings will resume with the 7:10 pm departure from Little River, according to BC Ferries.

BC Ferries had previously announced that the training events would take place on November 7, 14 and 21.

In the announcement, BC Ferries stated that it would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding during these important safety and emergency training events.
