Powell River RCMP reported the following for March 8 to 14, 2023

Thefts: 7
Break and enter: 1
Impaired driving: 1
Assaults: 7
Mischief: 4
Mental health: 8
March 10; Highway 101, 8600 block
At approximately 3 pm on, Powell River RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a business. The investigation revealed that sometime between 4 pm on March 9 and 10:30 am on March 10, an unknown suspect(s) pried open an external door to gain entry. Once inside, numerous hair cutting and salon supplies were stolen worth approximately $400.
