Powell River RCMP arrest man trying to enter vehicle

At approximately 2:42 am on March 3, Powell River RCMP responded to a call of an unknown male ringing the doorbell and trying to get into a car at a residence in the 3700 block of Strathcona Avenue.

Police attended and located the male, who was heavily intoxicated and stated that he did not know where he was and that he was trying to go home. The 29-year-old was arrested for being intoxicated in public and was transported to Powell River RCMP cells to be released when sober.

The man was issued a violation ticket for intoxication in public contrary to the liquor control and licensing act.
