Powell River Minor Hockey teams recognized at city hall

Powell River Minor Hockey’s U13 and U15 rep teams were recognized at the City of Powell Council meeting on April 6 for their accomplishments in recent provincial championship tournaments.

The under 13 team finished on the podium at the BC Hockey Tier 3 provincials, winning bronze over Arbutus Club (Vancouver) in West Vancouver last month.

The under 15 team advanced to the gold medal final at the BC Hockey Tier 3 provincials in Port Alberni, before falling to Mission in the championship game and bringing home silver.
