On August 4, 2022, Powell River RCMP responded to a break and enter at a School District 47 property located in the 7300 block of Abbotsford Street.
The break and enter occurred between August 3, at 3 pm, and August 4, at 8:15 am.
An unknown quantity of construction tools were stolen from a locked compound and two school district vehicles had windows smashed and damaged, with items stolen. Some property was located and recovered in the forested area.
Police conducted neighbourhood enquiries and are asking anyone who may have video surveillance in the area, or may have witnessed anything, to contact the Powell River RCMP detachment at 604.485.6255.
