After seeking the the public’s assistance in locating Jeffrey Jones on May 17, Powell River RCMP shared in a media release at 3:19 pm on May 18, that Jones has been taken into custody on Vancouver Island.
There was a BC-wide warrant for the arrest of Jones for Breach of Release Order contrary to Section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code. He is also currently under investigation for numerous other offences.
