RCMP respond to robbery, threats at Powell River Public Library

At approximately 10:42 am on February 14, Powell River RCMP responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at Powell River Public Library.

Two male youths entered the library, stole an item from a female youth and threatened to stab her. One of the males then pulled a knife out of his jacket pocket and pointed it at the female.

The two 14-year-old males, who were known to the victim, were located by police and arrested for robbery. The youths were released to appear in court.
