Powell River Kings built a 3-0 lead in Chilliwack on Saturday, February 27, but ultimately earned only a single point in the second game of a weekend road trip.

Noah Eyre, Karter McNarland and Anthony Lucarelli scored for Powell River, but the Chiefs roared back with three unanswered goals in regulation time to tie the game, then added the game winner 1:54 into the extra frame.

The overtime loss earned the Kings a third out of a possible four points on the trip following a 4-1 win in Prince George the previous evening. Attendance at Chilliwack Coliseum was 2,122.

Goaltender Liam Vanderkooi turned aside 40 shots for the Kings, who were outshot 44-25.
