Powell River U15 Kings remain undefeated at BC championships

Powell River U15 Kings improved their record to 2-0 with a 7-2 win over Prince George U15 Cougars at the BC Hockey U15 Tier 3 provincial hockey championships in Quesnel on March 18.

Kooper Kozmeniuk scored a hat-trick for Powell River for the second time in as many days. Lucas Gruntman, Connal Miller, Jackson Peters and Ryan Marshman had one goal each. Assists were credited to Gruntman (three), Jack Webber (two), Peters and Miller.

U15 Kings face New Westminster in their final round-robin game on Tuesday, March 19. Semi-final and medal round games take place on Wednesday, March 20.

Powell River defeated Dawson Creek in game one on March 17. New Westminster is also undefeated heading into their second game this afternoon.
