Threatening skies have not deterred School District 47 students who are competing in a district-wide track and field event at Timberlane Park today (May 27).
Prior to the event, Powell River Board of Education chairperson Dale Lawson said the elementary students, who represent all schools in qathet Regional District, have been training to perform their personal best in a variety of events.
