Come on Powell River, let’s get serious about our environment. Stop buying water in plastic bottles [“ City of Powell River reverses water bottling decision ,” June 19]. Years ago my husband got our tap and bought water tested.

The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a light on the core strengths of Canada’s health-care system while laying bare the shortcomings in the U.S. In this country, we have started to flatten the curve.

I love this quote. “You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success if found in your daily routine.” ~ John C. Maxwell Not many people like a tedious routine.

I am prejudiced and, unless you’re not human, you are as well. Prejudice is a word that feels awkward and dirty; like a toxic plant we passively acknowledge it but always walk around, continuing on our way.
