For the first time in 50 years, the Conservative Party of B.C. had two MLAs in the house, and their hawkish views have people literally rolling their eyes at times.

Many studies have confirmed that the currently known world fossil fuel reserves will be used up in 53 years (oil in 50 years, natural gas in 53 years and coal in 14 years) if the annual demand does not change.

Would we really invest $266 million in public funds to create a single job at a billionaire’s hydrogen plant? 

Either the government’s economic analysts are pessimistic to the point of hopelessness, or the NDP is vastly overselling the effect of the zoning and building bonanza it is trying to create

Realistically, if you are over the age of 50, then the worst effects of climate change will not significantly affect your life. Sorry to be blunt but we are not going to be around in 40 years.
