What do you think of this week's editorial cartoon?

Her name was Maybe [“Police charge man with Savary animal shooting,” March 15]. Spring break, as with every school holiday, brings families to Savary Island.

While news spread this week of Powell River RCMP taking down what it considered to be the beginnings of a “dial-a-dope” operation, a lot of questions were raised.

Way back on January 18, in a previous editorial, we made a call to LafargeHolcim to end the lockout of approximately 70 United Steelworkers Local 816 union workers at the company’s Texada Island rock quarry.

Further to the article about the Inn at Westview [“Council to debate Inn at Westview demolition,” March 8], the people of Powell River are owed an explanation by their council. The bill to tear it down could be up to $1 million.

Goose is cooked In regard to the proposed cull of Canada geese in Powell River [“Mayor keen to cull goose population,” March 8], I can say that this is a regular practice in the Okanagan where beaches, playgrounds, schoolyards, parks and golf courses
