As you drive through farm country these days, you will notice the fields are mostly bare. Only lingering hardy greens, cabbage, root vegetables and the last resilient raspberries remain.

A small gathering was held at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Powell River at 11 am on November 11 to recognize Remembrance Day. Residents were asked to stay away this year due to COVID-19 restrictions at public events.

The following is a collaboration of veterans and members of Royal Canadian Legion, who were asked to share their thoughts on Remembrance Day.
